Just done a late afternoon flight over water where there was a fair bit of glare due to reflection off the water and was flying facing the sun. Was filming with polarized lens of people below snorkeling in a cover. I kept getting the obstacle warning which I know is the sun catching the forward facing sensors. As I was recording the sudden stop was annoying. Was flying in wide open space do thinking the best work around is temporarily disabling the forward facing obstacle sensors. Anyone do this to solve this problem with the glorious sun?

Turn off obstacle avoidance before flight? You will not really need it over water anyway.

Just turn it off, you can leave the radar thing on and it will beep if near something but does not brake.

OK will be looking to do obstacle sensor off whilst in the wide open. Thanks heaps hombre & 4wd
