When I updated my P3S to 1.6.80 it basically ruined my drone. It cause constant interference warnings and I was only able to fly out about 100 feet. I sent my drone to DJI for repair and they either fixed it or sent me back a new drone (I'm not really sure at this point).
Since I got the repaired (or new) drone back it has been fantastic. No issues at all and I can easily fly out 1200 feet.
When I open the DJI Go app I see that there is a new firmware update available. Now I'm really hesitant to do any firmware updates after my last experience.
Has any had issues with the latest version?
Could you confirm what the latest version number is?
I purchased a P3S last July. It came with FW 1.2.40+ I have never had a problem with the P3S and therefore have never upgraded the FW. As long as it does everything I want to do, and I'm having no problems, why bother and take the chance. I've read many horror stories on here about upgrades gone bad.
