I'm sure most of us have the three batterys when we bought the Mavic with the Fly More package, but I was wondering if you bought more since then or if you bought the Mavic then over time bought another battery, etc.

Bought the Fly More and since my hard case can hold 4 additional batteries, I added 2 more - fore a total of 5 batteries.

Nice, do you often use all 5 in one day of flying?

Not yet - weather here has not been conducive to flying very much.  With Spring just starting to happen, I am hopng to get some good flying time and  experience in.

Yes, look'n good.  I have 4 battery's and when I fly...I fly them all.  I suppose if I had a 5th one, I would fly that one as well.

Four batteries here which is a perfect number for me. Now I am just waiting for good weather and the Advanced charging hub to arrive which I ordered on March 5th.

I have 4 Mavic Batteries, that I can charge with my backpack power system.  I can charge 7 batteries with it, and the flight of the 4 batteries from the initial charge... SO... 11 battery cycles. :-) I made a new post about what I did but I cannot see it publically.  I'm up to 35 points so I don't know why... :-(

I like my idea since its good for hiking.  Two portable laptop powerbanks and using the OEM charger.  Looking into a solar method that is small enough to carry around.  Should just get two more powerbanks and get another 7 batteries worth of electrons... :-)

I understand it has been either too rainy or too much in high winds category.  Your kit looks well equipped.  To what is the remove first banner attached?

I bought two with my Mavic, initially. Didn't get the fly more pack. Recently added a third battery and last time I was out used all three. Which left me wondering if I could do with a fourth. (Read: I'll probably get meself a fourth one).

I fly mainly from my house which 3 batteries is fine for. About 20 minutes of flight time per battery and 5-10 minutes between flight gives me as much flying time as I want as long as I am putting the dead battery on the charger after each flight.

If I were to travel more, 3 batteries might not be enough if there wasn't a power source available.

Chaser720.  MAKE SURE your NOT putting those battery's on your charger when they are hot/warm.  Let them cool down completely first.

I did get 2 extra batteries with my Mavic (not the Fly more combo) to have enough flight time. I've got it for 2 weeks now and not flew more than 15-20 minutes per day yet. Either due to available time, and/or the weather (mostly wind). So far I could've done with 1 battery, but I'm sure the extra batteries will be handy on holidays.

I was able to get 4, but haven't used them continuously. Can you run 4 or 5 continuously in one session without over heating the Mavic?  Would you allow some cool off period between for the MP before switching the batteries?

I fly one after the other.  After I land I'll pop in a new battery and fly again.  I just wait until the battery's are completely cool before I re-charge them.  I have not flown in the summer yet so I don't know how hot is too hot for these.  I assuming that if its hot out, I will watch it and let it site a few min. before I head back out.

Tied to a piece of very thin (and Screaming Loud Pink) nylon thread through the Gimbal clamp.  I DO NOT want to forget to remove that piece in my rush to fly.

I regularly fly 3 and occasionally 4 or 5 batteries consecutively and have never noticed a problem.

I have 5 Batteries in total, it's bc my phone battery lasts for exact 5 Mavic batteries before it dies.
A cool thing would have been when the RC could be charged on the mini usb while the second usb would charge the connected phone when flying then it would be almost unlimited.

I have two and the quick charge solution (advanced charging dock and P4 100W charger). Charges both batteries in 1h10min.
So far so good, will add more before the holidays as batteries loose capacity over time.
Very happy so far.

and quite happy with it
I mean, the drone is fast : so if you have a photo/film project you can quickly get the needed data
especially once you have a "waypoint track" recorded

however, I am a bit surprised by the charging dock : it does only one at a time (even though it is "intelligent" since it starts with the one having more % left)
I mean : why not all simultaneously ?  would be even faster

I've got a pair of batteries at the moment which covers my use fine to have a play with the Mavic while out a cycle or walk although once the weather is better and out for longer I'll probably pick up some more.

I've got 7 b/c of a mixup with my preorder, then switching to the fly more bundle.  4-5 is all you every need for 24/7 flying

If anyone wants 2 brand new/unopened batteries, PM me; best if you are in Canada...

Four batteries, about to buy another two- It seems like my phone and rc batteries would last for at least as long as 6 Mavic batteries (depending on conditions, of course.) We shall see.

Probably so it can put more power to one battery and charge it faster if not it may drop the charge speed down to 25% if you have 4 battery's charging all at once.
