Any back story as to how those boats were damaged and sunk?

Why is the copyright notice 2015 instead of 2017?

The copyright is on the music as stated on the credits. I don't know what the back story is but I could see that these boats could be parted out or sold for scrap metal.

The whole scene has a feel of abandonment. Looks like there was a storm which sunk these boats and it was the final straw. The owners and crews have just walked away and left them where they lie. The nets out never to be used again.

It could have been a hurricane that blew through while they were moored that flooded them
