All settings was default, just changed white balance as Sunny.

I am a tourist who is expected to travel to Turkey on 07/08 07/18.
I want to use my Mavic to record the wide scenery of the wild.

So I want to know if I need to apply for a UAV flight license, or can I apply for a UAV license?

Hello Jerome, http://iha.shgm.gov.tr/index.html this is the link that you have to register yourself. After 5-7 days of inspection system will create you a drone pilot licence.

You have to obey 2 rules. Never ever fly closer than  5 km to the airport. Second don't fly close to military zones, else you are free to fly by your own responsibility.

If you are going to shoot nature and wild life, i don't think that you will face any problem. Even you may not have to register yourself. But, to be at the safe side, it will be better for you

I am curious, Where are you going to shoot in Turkey?

In the past period of time, I also found that I can apply for flight permission from this site from google search, but the interesting thing is that I can not connect this site from Taiwan or from USA by VPN.

Can this registration form be handled by someone else?

Here is my summary of the journey.
TAIPEI -> ISTANBUL -> ANKARA -> SAFRANBOLU ->  CAPPADOCIA -> UNESCO ->  KONYA ->   ANTALYA ->  PAMUKKALE -> EPHESUS ->  IZMIR  ->  ISTANBUL

My opinion, if you don't fly closer to public areas, it is not necessary to apply. Feel free and fly safe..

I am traveling to Palawan in December/January.  Did you find any trouble with reception, interference, or connections?  We are traveling to a remote part of Palawan which the nearest road is a 20 minute boat ride away.  I just want to make sure I have everything prepared for this one time shot to capture some untouched island property.  Maraming salamat po, I love the video!

P.S., I'm assuming your underwater shots weren't filmed with the drone.  hahaha, again GREAT video!
