If I read correct, looks like to shoot in 5.2K, I need CinemaDNG.  Do I also need Apple ProRes or is that something different?  Can't seem to understand the difference; can I use one w/o the other or do I need both?
btw, I have the X5S camera

you need to buy the raw license for the 5.2 k (and ssd 480/240 gb) and reader. prores not needed.

Like what was previously mentioned, you don't have to get ProRes if you don't plan to use it.

You can shoot 5.2K 2.44:1 422pro res
