David, the battery seems to be defective.
May I know when and where you purchased it? Have you contacted our tech support to report this issue?

I bought the phantom 4 from best buy today in West Nashville in anticipation for my trip to Pennsylvania tomorrow and the batter won't charge or light up at all when I try to charge it!

Hi, Mike, sorry for the experience with our battery.
The battery may in sleep mode, please charge the battery for half an hour. If the Battery Level Indicators are still off, please contact your dealer to replace it.
