After this new update (v01.03.0600) my gimbal roll was set to -0.6; I reset it to 0.0, jumped through all the recalibration hoops, etc and it looks pretty decent. Out of sheer curiosity – why would the gimbal roll be set to that? Before you ship, does it get set as part of a QA process? Also, is it safe to assume that a gimbal roll of 0.0 should give me a flat horizon in my pictures?

I think there is a problem with the .0600 fw and the horizon...

Have you test the aircraft after the update?  Do you have any further horizon issue?

Hi mindy, yes the horizon isn't level anymore after the Update. Before 0600 the horizion was 100% level  with 0.0 correction.

Is there a problem with the 0600fw and the horizon?

Unfortunately, not as much as I want to, it’s been a bit rainy here. After setting everything to 0.0 (and a calibration) – it seemed like it looks fine – I didn't pull out my level and look at the images. It was more of a question as to why the Gimbal roll was set to -0.6, when I have never touched this setting.

Interresing...my gimbal is with correction of 0.6 level.
Maybe an issue with the "Optimized gimbal auto-calibration."

I thought it was just a random bug from upgrading to the latest.

Took it out this AM - things work pretty well - the alignment is good after adjusting back to 0. Still odd to me that this was set - but hey, easy fix.

No fix for me..
With correction at 0.0 horizon is not level. Calibration don't change anything.

Any ideas Dji?

Have you tried to downgrade the firmware to see if the horizon issue will fixed?
I don't think it's the firmware issue but the issue occurred after the update. So it is worth to downgrade the firmware.

Hi DJI, I also started having camera tilt issue after upgrading to .600. It is compensated at -1.0 - -1.2, but changes a little after each power on. More, the tilt is huge right after self-calibration at power on and gradually gets corrected over about 1 minute time.

I had the same problem as Dirk52. I went to support center early May. They did normal IMU and Gimal calibration (All i had done). It was not help and the problem still remain. Finally, they downgraded Mavic Pro to 1.3.400 firmware and the gimbal horizon became better. So, the issue seems a bug of firmware 1.3.600. DJI should fix it in coming firmware with fully testing.

Have you tried to install the latest firmware? 01.03.0700 was pushed out a few days ago. Maybe this will fix the horizon problem for you. I am running the mentioned FW without any horizon issues. Mine is leveled perfectly.
