I spent the morning filming ultimate Frisbee, so I was already warmed up for tracking flying objects lol.

It doesn't take much of a bird to take down your Phantom. I had a sparrow take out my P3P at 60 ft over asphalt! Good thing I had State Farm Insurance on it.

He wasn't being aggressive, but once tht second quad came over he left.

Having said hello on its first pass would have been better to avoid a possible strike by reducing altitude keeping both birds welfare in mind.Still a nice shot to get.

Pretty sure the bird would win in the drone vs bird collision...however, long term he may lose due to injury....

If he wanted to take out the quad he would have. He could easily move faster. My thoughts were to out intimidate him. Calling over the second quad was enough for him to leave me alone, being outnumbered.

Not sure if it was trying to say "hello", or "can I eat you?"

Great clip. Glad he didn't take you out. I have three or four Bald Eagles  that live really close to me so I'm always keeping an eye out for them.lol

Lucky! When u see birds, get out of the way.. they are very territorial.. even small ones...
