I cannot open the DJI Go app on my Galaxy S8+. As soon as i try it crashes and notifies that the resolution is not supported. I lower screen res and try again but it is still crashibg. Any insights?

That is the DJI GO 4 App. I'm talking about the original DJI GO app for the OSMO Mobile.

I haven't seen a crash - I have just seen that my app caps my S8 footage at 1080p and motion timelapse footage at 720p.... The best I can advise at the moment is use your s8's native camera app and hope that DJI pull their finger out v soon....

Update: both programs started working. Might have been the Android update or reinstalling the apps.

Hey guys! This is what worked for me:

- settings/applications/dji go/storage and delete everything (back it up before you do it)
- then uninstall app
- go to Google Play and install other DJI Go app - that one for latest drones
- run it
- switch it off
- install DJI Go for older devices
- run it

It works for me.

This has been an ongoing issue for me on a Note 4 and an S7 Edge. First DJI tells me my Note 4 is NOT Compatible. That was a lie. Now i'm just being told i'm SOL. I only have a 3 standard, but now without a vid app the thing is basically a paper weight. I have been able to use it on a friends Glaxy S3 and a third part APP and it works fine. DJI wants me to send in my drone for testing etc. Anyone can see that it's not the drone its the app.

Not to double post but Tomas Medek thank you. Your suggestion has worked to resolve an issue I've had for some time, an issue not even DJI could help fix.

Unfotunately app is no more working on S8 after last update. It is ridiculous that DJI is not able to update this app and they let us grounded. Especially when it is just about "screen fit" not about knew functions.

Delete app, change screen to FHD+, download app...should work then.
