Hello people and thanks for such a great website.
I accidentally attached an sd card full of videos to my aircraft and it was recognised as P3.
after reading other topics, I found out that the problem would be solved by simply removing the sd card. But the problem is, My aircraft's firmware was automatically updated to a P3P firmware (since it was recognised as P3P because of sd card full of other videos)... and that's why my P4 is recognised as P3P even without sd card.
Same thing happened to my friend's P4 just like the condition I explained.
- I tried factory reset using dji Assistant
- I tried firmware upgrade (refresh) using dji assisstant, but faced error (because its firmware is P3P's, not P4's
- I tried downgrading RC firmware, but nothing good happened
- I tried everything that was written in topics in order to get back to factory settings
None of these helped me so far.
and more interestingly, when I go to the downgrade page of my RC, It's recognised as P3Pro even without connecting to the aircraft!

So, as I've managed to find out, My aircraft's firmware is updated automatically to P3P because of my spoiled sd card.
Is there any way to roll back or downgrade the Aircraft's firmware?

RC firmware version: 1.60 (downgraded from 1.80)
Aircraft firmware version:V01.02.0602 Date2016.11.08

Your aircraft status is correct in that it shows the current latest firmware for the P4 (V01.02.0602). What makes you think that it is at P3 build (latest for P3 Pro is v1.10.90) ?

Could you happen to provide some screenshots of what you're getting?

You should be using DJI Go 4 for the Phantom 4. 'DJI Go' only works now for up to P3 series.

When I hold the Academy Button in Dji GO 4 app, The device info is shown as "Phantom3 Professional"

BTW In DJI GO app, academy's gray page shows my version as: V1.15
but in DJI GO4, it's shown as V1.80

The second reason why my device is updated mistakenly, is because I used the same sd card on another device, and the same thing happened with not even a slight difference.

after attaching that sd into the aircraft, it takes about 3 to 4 minutes to hear a woman saying something like "device updated" and after that, DJI GO4 says that your device is a DJI P3P and u must switch to DJI GO.

I tried formatting SD or using another SD, but the same thing keeps on happening.

all I get on my smartphone is this error: "installed device: Phantom3Pro, please use DJI Go app" or something like this.
It keeps on happening even without SD attached to my bird.

My dji assistant shows only one firmware available "V01.02.0602" which fails to refresh after some seconds.

Sorry that I couldn't send photos
