I brought 2 additional Phantom 4 Series - Intelligent Flight Battery (5870mAh, High Capacity) batteries for my Phantom4 at the Dji Flagship store in Shanghai. I was told that higher capacity batteries are compatible with both the Phantom 4 and the Phantom 4 Series - Battery Charging Hub. Upon my return to Australia, while reading the manual it was mentioned not to use another type of batteries but the one recommeneded for phantom 4, i.e Phantom 4 Series - Intelligent Flight Battery (5350mAh)


Please advise if i can still use the higher capacity batteries on the hub ???

The battery came out before the new capacity battery, that is why it is not mentioned in the manual. I understand each battery has its own electronic circuit to control the charge, the hub gets the level of charge from the battery itself and decides to send the power

I mean the charging hub came out before the high capacity battery

I recently purchased a new (5870 mAh) battery to go with my older 3 batteries & charging hub.  All work fine, no problems.  Everything is compatable.
