Hi,

I recently buy a phantom 3 standard. In a second time, I bought another battery.
Problem, on the first battery (the one that came with drone), status is alway "discharge in self storage" than the second battery is "connexion OK" (and 0 time charged !).

For both battery I fix the auto-discharge at 5 days. Of course the "discharge in self storage" is the only status I see for the first battery even just after a fresh a full charge and I made two or three discharge down to 7-8%.

What is my problem ?

I noticed than switching the 2 batteries make the charge counter increase from 14 to 15 without charging . . . .

I receive the Phantom in version 1.08.?.  No update needed.
The second battery was received in version 1.2.40. Impossible to update with DJI Go create. I made the USB update from 1.2.40 to 1.07.08 and then DJI go update from 1.07.08 to 1.08.10.

The charge counters are totally mad (0 for the second battery, 14 to 15 without recharging for the first one). So it's the Phantom that increments charge counter and not the intelligent battery itself ?

I forgot to thanks you for taking car of my problem and precise that fans9cdbb3aa=sim_v.

Second battery stays at 0 time charged after 2 full charges.

Second battery is now 1 time charged inside the bird. Seams that incrementation is when a battery is goes under a certain %.

Any way to fix the "discharge in storage" permanent status ?????

Hi Myndy, and sorry to bother you... also me have a same issues. Have a p4pro, and one battery ( that was replace by a refurbished drone) have same issues: self auto dischargind.  The battery have just 11 cycles of charge... thanks a lot in advance for your reply

Hi Como, to prolong the battery life, we recommend to discharge the battery to around 40% to 65% of total power when it is idle for more than ten days. Customers can also enable auto-discharging function in the DJI GO app and the battery will automatically discharge.
This is the current battery status, not an error, no worries.

My battery have set To discharge after 9 days And Not before.  
My battery work every days,  May be sometime these have a pause But Just for max 3 days.
