Just got my Panasonic Lumix 14-42 zoom lens.....and it is working, usually for a few minutes, then DJI APP says "Cannot detect camera lens".

Only way to fix it is restarting the drone. Anybody else have seen this problem?


I am also questioning the way this lens keeps changing the f-stop when zooming.

When setting the lens to f5.6 at 15mm it should stay there while zooming to 40mm, but moves to F9 (that is in manual camera setting)

That should not happen. Could the lens be defect maybe?

Would love to here from someone with this lens.

I am using that exact lens and it is working just fine for me.

Just to clarify, does it seem like the lens is seated properly on the camera? Is the firmware up to date on all the components?

yes, lens is definetly attached correctly, stops being recognized after a while....

Viper Pilot, just curious can you answer my question about shifting f-stop? Have you noticed ? f-stop should be only shifting while in-between 3.5 and 5.6.. If camera is set to for example to f8 zooming should not change this.

The f-stop does not change on my I2 when using the Panasonic 114-42 and zooming.

same for me i have no problems but you do need to set the lens correctly before you fly so fix the focus before take off
