Happens while flying, using the A2 and an S1000.  I can't see anywhere in the documentation what this might mean.   Suggestions appreciated.  -Peter

Could you happen to provide a short video of what you're getting?

Im looking at the arm...I see the violet followed by the 2 greens...but I see more violet flashes on the arm...where is that coming from? Do you have it set on course lock or IOC? Because 2 green LED is in IOC and not all sticks are at midpoint....This is page 33 from the A2 quick start guide: Step 3 IOC flying test
Please study the following diagram then make an IOC flying test. IOC LED indicator blinks ( green) (2) means not all stick(s) at the midpoint)

I'm assuming you're using a 3rd party RC like a Futaba or Specktrum where the throttle is left downward until you take off, correct? From what I gather from the LED sequence, it's in GPS mode with IOC enabled. It looks like there is a 5x purple LED sequence afterwards, which indicates that the unit is within 8m from the recorded home point.

When you're unsure as to what function is causing a particular LED sequence, you can always further troubleshoot the LED by unassigning all the extra channels and add them again one by one until the sequence reappears.

I'm sure you and I are on the same page. I believe that the extra sequence is still coming from the A2's LED module, it's most likely a trick in the lighting and angle that keep us from seeing it come direcly from the module itself.

I changed the switches for the IOC and that did it.   I had been using a rotary knob, and the settings were not quite right.  toggle switch is better.

Many thanks.
