I updated my MAVIC and now I'm getting a Visual Sensor needs calibrating message. I attempted to use both the method from the App, and the method using the Assistant 2.0 app. No go to both.

I installed Assistant & Horndis on OSX Sierra. Upon opening the Calibration menu, I go through the tutorials until part 3 when it gives me the attached error message immediately. I've tried multiple USB cables and ports and still the same error message. What gives?

Anyone...? I'm starting to wonder if DJI quality is still on par with the previous infamous Fly-aways from years past.

There's no fix for OSX. DJI seems oblivious to this issue.

No. Do you have some basic competency with which to work?

No. Do you have some basic competency with which to work?

Please try to reinstall the DJI assistant then do the calibration again.
And please make sure you point the Mavic straight at the screen.

Yes. Done that multiple times. Uninstalled/Reinstalled.

Its not even getting to the calibration component and has nothing to do with how the mavic is pointing.

And it is fixed. How? I took it to a friend who had a Windows 10 machine and the button turned from grey to blue and I was able to calibrate it. Thanks DJI for creating such flawed software that doesn't work on all systems. Great job.

The problem is that you can never click on the calibrate button. It stays grayed out with a spinning icon next to it. DJI seems inept and unable to fix this.

I tried on a virtual 10 machine and I got the same thing. Something to do with Paralells going through OSX resulted in the same problem.

I don't think it is the software, It's your OS preventing the drivers from being installed correctly. That's what the problem was for me.

I tried already several times to reinstall, same problem. Mavic before the last update no longer hang in the air and not hang itself. After the upgrade the problem remained , but the program DJI does not do calibration

Having this issue as well.  Got forward sensor error.  Tried to recalibrate using Assistant 2.  I get a "Frame Alignment Error" and if I proceed by clicking (blue button)" Calibrate Now" I never get the dots and the 2 preview screens of my camera are frozen.

From the start - two weeks ago - i was getting :
Vision system recalibration required .
Solution: Please contact DJI support. (Error Code: 0x0800)
I filed a repair request yesterday and was thinking about packing it up and sending it in - then today when i went out to fly - and the firmware updated - now the 0x800 error is gone but i am getting the error that the sensors need to be calibrated - and I am getting the frame alignment error - the blue button stays greyed out - i am on windows 10 .

i did all the steps to disable signed driver enforcement and reinstalled assistant 2 - it asked to confirm installing unsigned drivers and after everything installed i am still getting the same error .

When I look into device manager - i see a device named DJI that is flagged - no driver loaded for it - i tried manually browsing for the winusb.inf file and it tried to load it but failed .

I also tried the x64 inf file but that one is not accepted by the system and will not even try to load it .

I spent hours trying all the fixes in this forum - i tried two different windows 10 machines and then booted to a win 8.1 and nothing worked - finally i installed win 7 on one of the hard drives ... shazam !
