Hi,

The multiple flight modes Icon is not showing up when i switch to the F mode on the remote.
Ive enabled multiple flight modes in the settings but still doesnt show up.
Any idea why?

go app? so u enabled them, but in order to use them u have to go into f mode on the remote switch. Did you play with it in the simulator first? It works the same, but u can learn the procedure without risking the drone....

I have the same problem.
I only bought the 3 pro yesterday second hand and is my first drone so just getting used to things.
If I switch to F mode nothing happens.

Looking at the tutorials it says that you have to go into settings on your phone and connect to the Phantom3xxxxx wifi. I have a iPhone 6 and it is not showing the drone in the wifi list so cannot connect to it.
Have checked the firmware:
App 3.1.10
Drone 1.10.90
RC 1.8.0
These seem to be the latest ones so am not sure why I can't see it in the wifi list on  my phone.
Any help much appreciated.

So no icon on the left of the screen, below the RTH and takeoff icons?

You may want to start a new thread, your issue is different.

If you have a P3 Pro there is no wifi, you must use a cable. Wifi is only on the P3 Standard and P3 4K

What does it say on the badge on the front of the phantom?

The pro has a 4K camera, but so does the P3 4K - it's a confusing distinction.
I assume yours has 2 antenna on the radio and a full size USB port on the back of the radio?

I'm not sure which manual you are referring to, there are a few on that link. If it does say that in the P3 Pro manual, then the manual is wrong!

No, there is no wifi on the Pro or Advanced

Hi Paul, just tried it on the simulator and its working. Comes up with the icon under the RTH so not a broken switch.
I had it out earlier and switched to F but didn't notice the icon. The thing is from watching the tutorials it shows on them that it comes up with a notification and an other set of menus comes up next to the in Flight (GPS) green notification at the top of the screen.
Mine is the Professional model and the controller has the USB on the back.
I'll get it out again tomorrow and see what happens.

No problem, the app changes fairly regularly, not by huge amounts, but incrementally and can differ from what is shown in the manuals.

u have to be in the air before the f switch will do anything.. should be the same in the simulator. i think u need to be at minimum 8ft.. for a first test, i would suggest being at good 50 ft up in a clear field with nothing around.. Definitely test the heck out of it in the sim, so u know what the controls do in that mode. If anything blows up, flip back to P mode on the radio to abort...
