Find My Mavic shows location in China instead of Los Angeles

Almost another week to Asses Damage May/03/2017 17:32:00

Shortly after I see status updates to "The quotation has been sent to your mail box." but I receive no emails and newly added "Proforma Invoice" but no invoice when you press the button

So its been 2 weeks + a week to ship to cali and looks like its gonna be few more weeks


Anyone else got a similar experience?

if you consider a week there and a week back it only took them two weeks to fix yours so not so bad.
I jut hit 2 weeks mark and didn't even pay my dji care deductible because im waiting for the invoice 3 days

My problem started when the invoice was wrong.  They were going to replace the gimbal when I sent it in because of an obstacle avoidance problem.  I emailed, I called, I got on chat.  I was sent someone else's broken drone.   Sent it back.......still waiting.

..... and its been a week since status changed to "The quotation has been sent to your mail box"  and still no invoice. Why is this taking so long. They have a quote for me. It shouldn't take a week to email an invoice

So many calls and escalations later I received an invoice and an email today. 20 days since they received

Invoice was for $79 and another email message "You need to pay for $283. Thank you."

Since invoice attached to my case said $79 and I had DJI care I think this is a correct amount.

BUT of course things are never smooth I ran into another problem.
During one of may calls I have asked if I can pay with the money I have in my DJI account and was told Yea, Sure. Of course you can.

Well, that's not the case. You can't. Since I am tired of this I was like fck it and I just PayPaled it.

So 4 days ago I got a call apologizing for the delay.

I was happy to hear they have upgraded me to two day shipping.

Faster shipping is nice but in order for that to work they would need to actually ship it first.

FINALLY SHIPPED!!!

Last Thursday (week ago) I was upgraded to 2 day shipping because the time it took to repair but STILL it was not shipped till yesterday. Why upgrade Shipping and then wait a week to ship?

Anyways, If anyone wonders how long does it take to fix a Mavic the answer is 1 MONTH since they received it
