so last week i bought a second remote for the Mavic to teach the misses how to fly along and enjoy the view. I set everything up (FW version 600) and we took it for a test drive in the weekend.

Flew 2 times, both had a disconnection mid flight. Both remotes disconnected, aircraft initiated RTH. After approx. 2 seconds they reconnected so i manually landed again.

I just chatted with a DJI representative who told me that the mavic is not ready yet to be controlled by 2 remotes (!!!) and that the developers are working on it. He advised me to not use it till they update the firmware.

I am really confused. Anyone else tried the dual controller mode?

Hey there.
Master : iPhone 7 plus, iOS 10.3.1, DJI GO 4 v.4.0.8
Slave : iPhone 6s, iOS 10.3.1, DJI GO 4 v.4.0.8

Strange! Why they pop-up within the DJI-GO4 app the message "by a second controller" (for 359euro).

Update: I just did some tests. The disconnection happens after a few minutes even with 1 controller only...
