I have been losing the satellite signal during my P3 standard fights lately.  Have good wifi and radio signals but the satellite drops and then I lose everything.  Any ideas why?

In what location was your bird flying? Did hills or mountains surrounding the place?

Losing satellite or losing RC signal? There has apparently been some solar activity recently. Perhaps that has caused the problem?

Have you crashed or hard-landed recently?

No. Neither.  I did install the argtek range extender, but had several great fights before the satellite thing began.  Flew tonight and didn't have a satelite problem.  Did get my first Battery Error though.

What time of day was it? I know when I used to survey depending on the time of day and where the satellites were on the horizon sometimes they would dip below it and we would lose signal, I imagine the same thing happens with our drones. Are you losing all satellites or just a few?

I fly after 11pm, after work.  I lose all satellites. Usually 10, but sometimes as few as 8.  They just drop off even though I have decent wifi and radio signal.   I lost the signal at different distances when at different locations.  I thought losing satellite odd, considering the signal goes to the drone, does it not.?

Sounds like a hardware problem to me.  Loose GPS plug, cracked GPS antenna, bad GPS module, etc.
