I really hope that someone can help please. My Z3 camera isn't saving every video or photo to the memory card. The video files are there but are corrupt. A software specialist has recovered most of the footage but I shouldn't have to do this. I  have tried different cards all of which are class 10. I have shot both 1080 and 4K and experienced exactly the same problem plus I don't shut the Inspire down straight away. Also, it always takes a while, sometimes up to 1 minute, before the picture is shown on the iPad when starting up.

Is there a fault with the camera, as I suspect there is, and has anyone else experienced anything like this? Thanks.

Could you happen to clarify what SD cards you've tried thus far? I'm assuming you've tried to reformat them? What kind of format and resolution are you trying to use? Was the unit saving items to the SD card before? If so, do you remember any changes you made that could have affected it?

Make sure you format the card in the camera via the Go App not on some external device.
Not all class 10 cards are the same.  A lot of the cheaper cards are only rated for a max write speed of 40MB/s. (sometimes marked 300x)

The better cards will be rated at 60-90MB/s (633x)
A trap to look out for is the speed written on the front of the card is always the read speed (which is always faster than the write speed)

I have a Z3 and have had none of these problems.
I use only Lexar SDCs.
I buy them on eBay for $13 /32gb. Can't beat that deal....

I think I have solved the problem by changing the gimbal ribbons as there may have been a bad connection. Thank you.

i am having same issue ...... the MOV files are there but i cant view them all ..... i made 4 flights back to back but only could view 2 of the 5 files saved on card i am using Lexar 633x micro

Are they all the same resolution, or are the ones that are viewable filmed at a slower resolution?
