I have a Mavic Pro with a couple of spare batteries that i'd like to take backpacking with me.  I use a Goal Zero solar charging kit that i use for my regualr camera batteries and it has a car charger female plug in.  Can i use the Mavic car charging cord to plug into this and charge the Mavic batteries in the field?

I doubt this could work. I'm sure that Your solar panel doesnt charge with sufficient current and voltage.

It might work but it really depends on your solar setup....  You will be fine if the output on your solar is 1.4 amps @ 110+ volts.  I doubt it is, so you have to work around that...

What I would suggest is the following, though more expensive....

Small Portable battery that can output this kind of power that can be charged via solar.

Give me a min to find you some solutions.

Problem solved.  Should be sufficient to charge a couple batteries and the remote before needing to be recharged via solar.

As the prior post stated, I doubt a portable solar charging kit has the power to charge a battery, and in a timely manner if it would charge.

I disagree DJI-Ken.  This is the kit to get:

The Mavic battery is 3830 mah and this Sherpa 100 has 8800 mah, so that is two batteries from a dead 0% charge.  Most of us will probably only have 3000 mah to charge on a typical battery, so that would leave 2800 mah to charge the remote which has a max mah of 2970 and again, you aren't going to be charging from 0.

It takes 10 hours to fully charge the Sherpa 100 with that solar panel in the kit (assuming a full day of sun I am sure), so if you are out in the sticks, you can fly 2 batteries per day without access to any external power.

Depends on a solar charger you purchased.
In most cases - might work, but I am not sure.
Anyway, the previous posts have already advised you what to do, so let us know how it's going if you decide to try it out.

guy uses solar charger to charge 4 x 18650 in parallel and then connects 4 x 18650 in serial (14.6 V) to charge mavic battery using stock DJI car charger from it...
