[size=14.6667px]Fairly new to the world of drones, filming and editing. [size=14.6667px]Therefore, I would like to use this thread to post my videos when they come out, and hoping for some constructive feedback.

[size=14.6667px]My latest video is a quick montage of some shots I took at the medieval castle Loevestein, located on the banks of the river Maas in the Netherlands.
Welcome to the club. You actually did a pretty good job. Flying was almost perfect for a newbie. Just keep an eye on the exposure when tuning around. Overall, really good.
Hi Joost, nice job done.
Do not know your settings but see do some blurry spots areas.
Might be youtube or the noise reduction that the Mavic performs, I'm expecting the last one. I do record with +1/-1/0 at Dlog.
I match my shutter speed with frames per second times two[4k/30fps-- shutter 60], if needed apply ND filter, yes this is a must.
I lock my WB by setting it first to auto, wait for few seconds and then set to manuall.
I also chose for NTSC, so I can set it at 30FPS with 4k , do not forget the flicker at 50Hz.
I also have changed some settings for the gimball to make movements a bit slower.
Do the noise reduction with your computer, use a plugin for your edditing software.
Mostly I like my footage more if the music is in sync. and I do trow allot of my video away to only use about 5 seconds per clip.. or cut it up and play backwards when possible/ play back a bit faster, this creates a bit more dynamic video.. to my own liking.
I always walk arround in the area just to spot some other stuf that I can film, make some close ups and reveals and so on.
I'm using these LUT files.. they are perfect for me, natural look and is showing really nice details in the video
This all the feedback I can give, I'm a beginner to and have allot to learn.
Just keep flying and filming.
Here's my latest clip of a visit to the windmills of world heritage site Kinderdijk in the Netherlands.
As I had heard that locals are getting VERY annoyed by people flying drones through the props of the windmills, hanging in front of the windows, etc, I kept a little bit of distance and didn't go for the close-up/POI shots that I would have preferred to take.

Wow, man, that is a lot of information!
I think I shot all in the same resolution, but it might be that the hangar app screwed some stuff up, not sure.
I find that either my laptop, or adobe premiere, or youtube screws up a lot of my footage, so I have now switched to recording in a slightly lower resolution and only uploading 1080p... the results look much better imo.
I keep forgetting to extensively review my camera settings, as I still just love it so much to fly that I get excited and stop thinking :-)
Anyway, thanks for the feedback, will look into it!
Latest litle movie is the result of an afternoon goofin' around on the beach.
Still find the editing frustratingly tedious, and not all that happy with the results... Any tips on Adobe Premiere Elements workflow?
Thanks. I enjoyed it.
Many years ago I read a story about a cross country skating event on frozen canals in the Netherlands where people skated for very long distances during the winter. Cannot remember the name of the book but is was like 30 years ago.

Hahah, yeah, that must be the "Elfsteden tocht" (Tour of 11 cities). A monster of a skating tour which is being held whenever possible. Due to the warm winters recently, it hasn't been held for years now, but every year when there is more than a moderate frost, everybody starts getting "eleven cities fever" :-)
And here is my most recent video, of some friends of mine windsurfing at the Brouwersdam, one of the big dams in the famous Deltaworks (the system of dams that were built to protect the Netherlands after the great floods of 1953).
My latest movie, shot on a warm and quiet September evening.
The result was some quite dreamy footage, so I contacted a Dutch musician who's equally dreamy song had struck me once. He was kind enough to allow me to use the song, so all in all I am pretty ecstatic with the results! Hope you'll all like it as well, as always, feedback is highly appreciated!
It's been a long time since I posted some videos, but not because I haven't been flying! Like many, I got the FPV, and it really gave a new impulse to the fun I have flying. No more "pressure" to create nice videos, just endless fun behaving like a tasmanian devil of the skies! Anyway, last weekend I went surfing again with a buddy, and of course I just hád to take some drone shots again. All aerial footage shot with the Mavic 2 Pro. I hope you'll enjoy the footage!
