I have purchased the extension arm and tripod from Osmo which have their uses. However, in addition to those, I would like to be able to attach the Osmo + to my heavier tripod allowing me to get more height and a sturdier platform for timelapses. Anyone know solutions/ attachments/ mounting fixtures to facilitate  this please?

The gimbal extension lead is a handy extra - http://store.dji.com/product/osmo-gimbal-extension
Add an articulated locking arm and you should be able to get it in any position you want - http://store.dji.com/product/osmo-articulating-locking-arm

Good luck with timelapse, it can be a bit wobbly
