Hello,

first of all let me say "thank you" to DJI for creating this UAV and allowing a plethora of interesting features to arrive for those who enjoy a "3D approach" to our planet!

I am using the (latest SW updated) DJO GO 4 app on an iPad Mini 2 (64GB, cellular, 10+GB storage space free, iOS 10.2.1) and can connect to my Mavic, and also operate it.
Yet - I recently discovered that the "Editor" part of the DJI GO 4 app no longer has a copy of the actual flight recording. In earlier days, I had some HD local copy of what additionally was stored on the Mavic's SD card.

Did I accidentally switch off that feature? Or what can i do to keep a local copy, next to the device stored copy?

I think they are on another tab in the app. That´s what I discovered finding them under Album/Videos.

Open the DJI GO 4 APP,  go to General Settings and then enable Cache Locally When Recording.

maybe your cache is full... you can set it up to 16GB, default is afaik 2GB or something like that...

That's something I'd like an option to change.    I'd like an option which would allow me to locally cache videos w/ audio even if I'm not recording. And bump up that 16GB to a size of my choosing.  I can handle at least a 64GB cache on my 256GB iPhone.  There are plenty of times I record getting to and from the shot I actually want to get just so I have footage in case something happens.

My cache never saves as well, I have no idea why. I just resort to screen recording instead.

i did - like i said - still have 10GB free on my iPad. I recorded several movies - short and long ones - non saved locally...

mine sometimes records, and then other times it doesnt. I cant figure it out.

just cleaned any cache on the DJI GO 4 App. Recorded a simple 5 sec video. not shown on my ipad... sigh.
