Its not covered in the manual so I thought I would drop this here incase anyone was wondering

Press C1 on the tx and a crosshair will appear in the goggles, move head to move crosshair to focus location
single press the touch pad on goggles to focus
press C1 again to remove crosshair

Pressing the Fn button on the goggles seems to produce the cross hair too

Yea, I like that method better ONLY BECAUSE the interface is so snappy (fast/responsive).  Tap Fn with thumb, aim, tap with index finger...  Profit!

I did this instead today.  I combined BOTH methods, lol.  So, click the C1, look around with head, click down on 5D button.  Hands never leave R/C.

My entire screen is way out of focus.

Just as a note, the Fn buttons on the goggles, as well as the side touchpad, directly map to the C1/C2/5-Way of the Mavic controller.  That's why both methods work - they are doing the exact same thing.

The downside to this, which the manual points out, is that your normal C1/C2 actions WILL NOT work when the Goggles are connected.

My entire screen is way out of focus.

You need reading glasses (or almost like me).  You must be near 40 (over or under).

I am using mid-level glasses since I'm good at long distance, but I'm not quite there for reading glasses (I don't quite need THAT strength yet).

With the right glasses, the screen gets bigger, clearer and won't show screen door.  If you see screen door (lines/pixels), you're using too strong of a diopter.

Downside is moot once you're looking through these goggles.

If I'm using it, yes. But I use the C2 button to switch between camera-primary and map-primary views, and if I've given the goggles to another user, I lose that ability and it may take me some time to retrain myself to use the screen instead of the button.

Is it a huge deal? No. But it's worth noting, since people do use those buttons for other things.

Not sure what you mean by "buttons" ??  I only have one Fn button.

Not for all of us. I'd really like to set waypoints on fly in Litchi. To do that I need to have the normal button function on the RC  or else look back and tap the screen on the phone (which is not great when wearing goggles).  I really would love to have a a way to toggle the buttons back.

It seems to be better if you almost double your prescription.  I normally use 1.5 readers...  so for the goggles I went to a 3 and it is crystal clear.

or...  i am going to try this i think...   https://www.focus-fixers.com/
