See below link to screenshot, specifically, the trees on the right side of the frame. There is a weird blurry blending happening. Does anyone know what this is or how to fix? I am using poloar pro ND filters, and shooting manual.

slow motion video blurred, need help.

See below screenshot for reference. I took this at 2.7 k shooting 60fps, the mavic was moving foward very slow (like 4mph). I was also using a polar pro ND filter. I can't figure out why the frame looks totally mushed and blurred / distorted. anyone know of a fix here?

Try shooting at 0 sharp without d-log. Some like d-cinelike and art. I shoot normal with the shutter up over 100. Seen some really good footage under 100 but it's probably to do with newer firmware.

I don't think that's off the sd? You can't even do 60 fps in 2k.

You can't shoot 60fps at anything other than 1080, do you mean you had a 1/60 shutter speed? Were you using a negative sharpness setting?

yes, similar issue I guess. I meant to say shooting 1080p on the 60fps post. I am shooting using cinelike and I have a negative sharpness in the camera settings. doesnt seem normal. is it a camera focusing issue? or an issue with the ND filter?

Here is a link to the video render if you want to take a look (the 4k shot over the ocean - look over to the blurry trees on the right) (the boat on the left also has some weird blur going on)

I think what I am trying to get across... these images are losing tons of detail. I am trying to figure out what the cause is... ND filters, focus or camera hardware issue.

I don't use filter.
I had not paid attention before today, It seems that all my photos are blurred in the top left… It's not the jpeg compression, same problem with raw files.

Can see it left side. If you center focus- bind it to c1 and then check the photos. Might be a warranty claim.

The 1080 60 is a known issue already, actually anything over 30 is going to alias. And like machina said, your using a negative sharpness.

using -1 in sharpness shouldn't have this dramatic of effect

To test whether your camera has a decentered lens, shoot against a brick wall in good light and then examine the corner areas for consistency.

It's completely normal for the Mavic's camera when you use negative sharpness.

You might be able to get away with using negative sharpness in some situations, like in very bright, evenly lit conditions, but in high-contrast and lower light situations negative sharpness is just going to turn dark areas into mush.

Shoot with sharpness at 0 and see for yourself. Some folks recommend shooting +1 sharpness in lower light to compensate for the Mavic camera stack's tendency to aggressively apply noise reduction, which appears to be the root cause of the blurring.

okay, I will give it a shot. thank you for the feedback, I hope this solves the issue! Do you know if there is a fix for the 60fps"mushyness"?

60fps isn't known for mushiness but rather for introducing aliasing, the only workaround for that is to not use >30fps 1080p for any subject matter that has lots of straight lines or is susceptible to moire effects.

Would you suggest an optimal distance to shoot away from brick wall? Thanks

Enough to fill the frame, but not so close that lens distortion becomes obvious and distracting.

Here is shot taken today. I have noticed a bright area in center of images that is sharper in detail with loss around edges and looks more pronounced on left side.
Any feed back appreciated. Thanks.

I was going to write that the right side is blurry while the center and left edge is fine. Is the uploaded image flipped? I'd contact support.

The brighter area in the center is an artifact of the camera. It used to be a lot worse but a recent firmware update added some correction in the form of a lens profile.

I meant to say right side no image not flipped. Obviously right side not as crisp.
Thanks for your impressions.
