The latest update to the DJKI GO 4 app for android is out.

WHAT'S NEWAdded support for Spark:
-Added advanced gesture controls.
-Added horizontal and vertical panoramas.
-Added ShallowFocus shooting mode.
-Added QuickShot Mode.
-Added Coordinate Mode.
Matrice 200:
-Added support for the Matrice 200 and AirSense.
Editor
-Added some new filters and opening scenes.
-Updated the music library.
General:
-After updating, users is required to log into their DJI account once.
-Added a feature that allows no-fly zones to update in real time.

Nothing yet for IOS.

Just updated and just flew my mavic. Funny thing was it never asked me to register or log into my account? Flight was flawless.

Yeah I just took my a Mavic for a spin with 4.1.0  and Shock Horror, nothing has changed.
It flew just the same as it always has.  The requirement to re login into your DJI acc is a non even, t if like me you never intentionally log out of your DJI acc.  It just takes care of it in the background.

Do you have video of it crashing?

no new features on the Mavic?

App store usually takes 1 to 2 days to release vs Android takes 5 mins to 4 hours.

Reason: Android does not review their apps, whereas Apple checks the app very thoroughly, any issues they will reject. (Most likely why so may reports on crashes for Android)

it crash immediately after few seconds that you open the app... unbelievable

the old version was ok, not very stable during the flight but at least I could use the mavic pro that I bought 2 days ago. What I understood reading everywhere is tgat I need to buy an apple device to have no trouble! I think that dji want that everyone buy an apple device...

I have a Mavic and agreed to update the DJI GO 4 app right now.

After starting the updated app, the following screen appears:



On that screen, there is NO way to 'sign in with my account'. The only thing I can do is to click on 'GO' and install the app for a drohne I don't had or have.

There is no difference if I am connected to the Mavic or not.

Please help because I really wanted to get some shots on coming weekend.

Have you tried reinstalling the app? Are you starting the app while having an aircraft connected or without? What OS is your device running?

Not at this time. It's just adding the Spark to the list and a few improvements to the M200 and Editor.

There haven't been any firmware released that's meant to be correlated with this particular app update.

Could you clarify whether or not you were already logged into your DJI Account when you updated the app? What mobile device do you use and what OS version is it on? Have you already tried reinstalling the app? I'm assuming your Mavic was fully updated prior to updating the app, correct?

When you are at the first page of the DJI GO 4 app, make sure Mavic is the selected drone. Then go to the small icon on the far right hand side and tap on that. Then log in to the app. Don't log out of the app. Just close it when you are finished.

Thanks for replying and your help. And sorry for my late answer.

I managed to reinstall the newest version DJI GO 4 app and made the app starting normally. But then I figured out that I may have an incompatible device (LG X cam, Android 6), because the USB link to the remote controller breaks down after a few seconds (always). Too bad because older versions of the DJI GO 4 app worked pretty well with my smartphone.

But there are good news, too. I bought a new tablet computer (Android 6) and a tablet holder for the remote controller. It seems to be a very reliable setup now and I am happy again.

However, if there is any solution for my LG X cam, I wouldn't getting unhappy, though.
