I made my order on the first day spark arrived & as we all know the estimate shipping is MID JUNE but here is the shocker one of my friend got it right away by paying some extra he could not purchase combo he bought just the spark @USD 599, This is really not cool by dji

i got mine this morning.  I'm out in Shanghai though!  Charging the lil guy up while i search how to purchase/activate DJI care.   I'm ECSTATIC atm.

Wow, some early birds,  is it possible they made a bigger first batch for testers and didnt have enough testers, so sold them ?

China is getting there's first because the don't have to go through the new geofencing registration process , it tells me that the new restrictive firmware is not ready for the rest of the world.

Milksteak did post that DJI already dropped a F/W update on him, so maybe that means they are hard at work on getting the Rest o fThe World F/W ready to release.

He did say he had an issue with the new F/W, though!

DJI are not silly. They would not do teasers. They seen what happened with Mavic so once the Spark has started shipping world wide the market will be flooded and then all the teething problems will start and those peoples that have managed to wait 2 months will get all the upgraded software / firmware and then the market will start producing .............landing leg extentions, gimbal kit ......all the sorta stuff that the Mavic is or has had aftermarket made. Rock on September. Also you can guarantee DJI has new designs on the drawing board as we forum..............Commerical, Recreational or both ? What is your views I know mine !

I'm also from Texas, so it is possible I might be receiving my Fly More Combo 4 days in advance.. Interesting
