Not yet, i update ios and android but here raining day will test it after rain stop.

That's the thing geoffz, this update is mandatory, will limit your drone capabilities if not updated

What's coming was not a firmware but rather the new updated app with new activation process. And it's out now for IOS. Not sure about android though as I have a iPhone and iPad only.

After reading all the above posts , today the new update is up so when i opened the application ( DGI GO4) on my Ipad mini 4 , it shows me that i have the latest version.  I bought the drone one week ago and installed the application .Is it possible for me having the latest version ?

Downloading now, see you on the other side everyone, cross my fingers it won't be disappointing.

Well app came out last night, check App Store for updates.

Just downloaded WestCoast of USA at 3:00am.

All's well, updated just asked for login on app startup, took her up and no feared draconian control by DJI. Flew right as rain, even took her up to 410 to see if a hard limit was imposed, nope...all good.

Also app seems stable, no bugs I found.

Did you set your altitude limit to 500 meters?

I think the key aspect of new app is to force login so that it can track the drone back to user in event something ever did happen, and enforce any mandatory NFZ (I never tried flying in a mandatory NFZ so I cannot confirm), Whereas in past no login was needed to fly. No biggie.

My setting stayed at 500 meters, though I only took it up to 124 meters (410ft) to see if a hard limit was imposed, but no hard limit (in us 400 feet is max allowed)

I asked because every time I update, information such as max alt and return to home height are reset to defaults? One more question, is there still an option to turn off geo fencing?

Good question, I will check, never turned it off myself but I will see, will report back.. but I have a hunch it will not be an option.

I noticed many of my settings like stick gain curves were set back to default straight lines.  Camera settings changed as did the altitude which was at zero but could still be changed.

Bad part is one of my Samsungs no longer connects and just crashes on opening in GO 4.1.0 and sends out the crash report to wherever.  The other Samsung phone fails to connect at all and says "Failed to transmit" and to "Try again later" which is new to me.  So much for Android.

The return to Home is set at max 50m....

Seems like when Mavic set to wifi, the DJI GO 4 app flashes no signal with this latest update.

I update app test phantom 4 all ok here greece.one guestion.i just login in app anything else i must do?because sometimes pop up the window to tell me to update the update and activate my account.

Is the aircraft powered up and connected ?

As these settings are stored in the aircraft, it needs to be connected for DJI Go 4 to be able to read these values from aircraft, that's why the value may not appear to be changing.

Not at all, I probably just made more mistakes quicker

It isn't noted but the new release resolves the issue with multiple flight log pages for the same drone. Very happy about this fix!

crashing on my android 7 phone. Tried to reinstall, same thing.

It still crashes all the time. What`s the point to bring out a new version  and not fixing the major, exetial problem of the software. It seems you dji guys obiously give a crap about your customers. I still have a Phantom 4, a Mavic and thinking about getting a Spark, but what`s the point of buying a product and the needed software is totally faulty. Now i`m thinking about getting rid of all dji products. For shure i will not recommend any dji products anymore.   Thank you dji for nothing.

keeps saying server/site busy when trying to accept new terms??? anyone else getting this?
