I wish DJI would create a button in the go4 app to lock the gimbal in position (Not for transport). The reason I say this is there are times I would like to do a time lapse with no flying involved and would like to prop the drone up to catch more of the sky. But the gimbal keeps the camera level. I thought I would lay it on it's Back and move the gimbal up and down to get the right shot and that's a no go too because the camera will be stuck looking straight up.
Could we please get a lock the gimbals position feature?

You can always tilt the gimbal 30º upwards using the gimbal dial, and if this is not enough you can put it in FPV mode...
EDIT: or maybe not, as it seems that the explanation in the manual about the gimbal modes is somewhat flawed... Sorry!
