Just was wondering if the Spark could legally be flown in places that have flight restrictions if you don't go high or if you fly indoors? Any thoughts?

I guess, it would not have any jurisdation inside your own premises. It may be different once you take it outside. But be careful and have the prop guard on all the times.

The flight restriction will take effect as long as  it can search GPS signal no matter indoors or outdoors. It would be better to fly in free area.
