Hi,
I had a P3PRO for over a year and now have upgraded to a P4Pro. I can not get better or event similar image quality on my P4PRO.
Here are a few images from P4Pro and P3Pro: Please see details of tree leaves.

Does anyone know what could be the issue?

It's very hard to tell anything from the small images you posted.
But the P4pro should be able to easily produce much better quality that any P3 - as long as you have focused it correctly.
btw ... those images are a long way from Switzerland ... You've shot the place where I grew up.

I felt the same way about my P4P images compared to my P3P images. There IS an improvement with the P4P, but it doesn't come off as great an improvement as other P4P owners describe.

Well, we don't know what settings were used to make these stills (sharpness, color, style etc.). Try to experiment there.

That's a strange thing to say.
It's an improvement but not as much as other P4 pro users say it is???

It's a huge improvement in photographic quality.
The sensor is more than 4x larger, it has greater dynamic range.
It's a 20MP camera with a real diaphragm and focus.
And the quality of photos you can get out of it is much better than was possible with the previous P3 and P4 cameras.

Yes, it is a strange thing to say. That's exactly my point. My experience (as well as the OP's experience) does not match the expectations of the specs or the experiences of other users. You are confirming what I am saying, and thank you.

I used Color: D-Cinelike. Manual white balance - Sunny.

Guys,

I did more experiments yesterday and I think I have got to the bottom of the issue:
Previously I used Color: D-Cinelike and I do not have a ND filter yet. That was the result.
Yesterday I reset everything, recallibarate and just used Color:Normal.
Result was very good even in the harsh conditiond like facing the sun:

I guess ND filter will further improve the quality.
(System only allows to upload upto 1MB images, so I had to reduce the size.).

It is look like we have to do fiddle with setting to get better image quality according to the environment you are working in.

Cheers,

Sudath

I lived on Lambert Rd, a block from the station.

An ND filter won't make much visual difference if you are shooting stills.
It will just reduce the light level which will slow your shutter speed.

Exactly. You can control light/exposure with more options with stills than you can when shooting video (which requires certain frame rates and shutter speeds for the desired look). For distant shots. I am not sure where an ND filter will come in handy unless for some reason you want a longer exposure time, but who shoots glamour portraits from the air? That was a joke.
