I know it sounds crazy but...

I want to to build (buy) device to stream two  way audio (something like phone conversatio. It would be hanging on a rope(string) like 10 ft below my drone and i want to be able to have a nornal conversation from a place where im controling my drone.

I did few testest with audio record attched to my drone and i was able to hear people talking   with drone noice in background

Does anyone now how to build 2 way audio reciver with range + 2 miles ?

Sounds like a fun project. I played around with two way radios once, cheap walkie talkie ones. It worked ok, but lots of wind noise and anything dangling below will be blown around quite badly. The radio ended up just spinning and snapping the string.

The noise of the drone made talking to other people almost impossible.

I think maybe somewhere like RCGroups or an electronics forum would be the best place for knowledge like that, Building things is always good fun, learn much more than opening a box.  

Guess the start is deciding what frequency to use based on your needs, 2km, is it clear line of sight?
