Received DJI Focus handwheel 2 today now connected to the Inspire 2 TX, just about to test it will post results later.

Have been testing the Focus this afternoon and discovered a problem.

Had an intermittent fault kept disconnecting discovered the aluminium casting is proud by 1.5mm see red arrow on photo, after removing 1.5mm the Hand wheel now fits correctly both mechanically and electronically.

About then the slight problem mentioned above, been testing it all afternoon brilliant piece of kit the zoom function works perfectly on the 14mm to 42 zoom.



You can switch between focus aperture and zoom in the App or use the bottom on Unit.

Does the handwheel 2 remap the very small amount of focus throw to the full 360 degrees on the handwheel?

My handwheel 1 does not.

My biggest criticism of the focus mount is that it places the wheel out of reach of any of your fingers unless you happen to be shacquile oneil.  I use a combo of a small noga arm and manfrotto nano clamp to get the wheel so i can fly and adjust focus simultaneously.

Interested to hear if the range of the Focus Wheel is utilized, and not only over a very short range
