Taking much longer to update than normal. been sitting at 99% for 12 minutes and also asked me to disconnect and re connect data cable ? I have now disconnected from ipad and now trying to update through DJI assistant 2Just an update, I updated through Assistant 2 and it showed to update ok but the remote/go4 app would not see the P4P I had to re link them both and now all ok, never had this happen before?

I tried re-linking RC and aircraft and after some time it managed to get to 100%.

Very strange and seems it needs to be fixed by DJI !

Same garbage, update via smartphone 99% camera hangs and nothing happens...now after connecting the copter to the remote, there was no picture says NO SIGNAL....what to do?

Litchi needs to be updated using DJI SDK 4.1. to bring in line. I'm not sure whether they've done that yet. One way to find out...

Yes. Beta was dated April (I think) and was v1.04.0510. In theory, this prod firmware has other updates beyond the horizon fix (but sadly no doubt just to enforce No-Fly zones).

Just a note that I've successfully updated - but not without drama. I first updated the craft, but then it no longer connected with the RC - both link LEDs red. Did a forced re-sync (C1+C2+Record and P4P link button). All good, but link LED on the RC was rapidly now flashing red/green. GO on phone told me there was an RC update (the release notes also mentions it). Updated RC. Lost connection again. Did a forced re-sync again. All good.
Tried to run VPS calibration - "Frame Alignment Error" persists. Downgraded to Assistant 2 v1.1.1 - same. Downgraded to v1.1.0. All good.

Phew. I live to fly another day. Yay. Heading into country for the weekend to test out, alongside my DJI-neglected but trusty P4.
[Edit] As noted by others, the DJI GO app seems to be returned to factory settings, and so I'd definitely be assuming craft setting set to default also i.e. do a VPS calibration and a Gimbal calibration. Otherwise, if you didn't have errors with Assistant 2 prior to the upgrade, you may not have to downgrade versions like I did. BTW, Assistant 2 v1.1.2 is available under the Spark download page, although that's probably only adding Spark dialogue...

I followed all instructions op my iPad (even disconnecting - re-connecting) and everything went perfect... Remote Control, Aircraft (Phantom 4 Pro) and all batteries updated without problem. Of course that takes some time...

Thats one of my concerns as well.  The other is the need to fly where there is no cell service to log-into DJI.  I think DJI really screwed the pooch on this update.

Does the flight limitation they mention about not being connected just refer to being signed in initially to the app and doesn't meant you need internet while you fly?

So in the P4P+ I never have internet, does that mean I'm fine as long as I was logged into the app the last time I was connected to the internet?

I had also "No Signal" issue after updating drone firmware, but it's fixed with linking rc again. Now drone works fine and camera horizon issue is also fixed. Thanks DJI.

Just did the updates, through the DJI GO4 App on an iPad 5th gen, all went smoothly, just had to relink Craft and RC to clear the no video downlink issue.  BTW, in your post you say "Aircraft Firmware: V 01.03.0602 (June 8th 2017)", while it should be  Version 01.04.0602...
