Hey guys,

Have You seen that? DJI has announsed new firmware for PRO and ADVANCED version, but no for "standard" version.

This is clear signal for me - DJI don't care about P4 users anymore.

I assume you've not read the other post regarding this, DJI announced five days ago that their engineers were working on a P4 firmware update:-

Surely that is a question for DJI to answer, I was merely the messenger

Perhaps one of the moderators can provide an update ?

Even if they are working on a new build, it may not be what we hope for, time will tell.

Please tell  me this firmware update will fix the useless video feed. I can barely get through a flight due to the screen pixelating, turning green, or just going blank with black.

Are you using latest version of DJI Go 4, if not then that may be why App' is not reporting updates. I updated aircraft using latest Assistant 2, and RC update was an OTA (Over The Air (wifi :-) ) update.

Can't remember all these numbers, but there is a recent update to Assistant 2 as well - first update your Go 4 app, then update Assistant 2, then use Assistant 2 to update the aircraft, then use Assistant 2 to run the new vision calibration, then run the updated Go 4 to update the RC.  Then check and reset all the settings since some will have changed, then calibrate the IMU followed by gimbal followed by compass.

No need for an adaptor.

I plugged the aircraft into the PC using a standard micro USB cable while I updated it with Assistant 2.
I plugged the tablet into the RC as normal, again the standard micro USB cable.  The Go 4 app updated the RC.

Can't remember what that little OTG adaptor is for!

Isn't the OTG for connecting Display to Aircraft when using App' to upgrade aircraft (I always use Assistant 2) ?

As in           Display-USB(A)-USB(B)-MicroUSB-Aircraft :-)
