Hi Folks
Just thought i would let you know that i was dreading updating my P4P +.So waited till weekend so i would have time .
Here is EXACTLY what i did and no problems at all ( maybe i am just lucky )

Unpacked it it
Started Bird
Started Controller
Controller then told me it had update , so pressed the DOWNLOAD button .
returned to home screen on app
and read the instructions
Then Noticed it said connect bird and controller via lead, so did this ( controller was still downloading)
at this time the contoller DJI app said ther was update for bird ..BUT I JUST IGNORED THAT FOR NOW
Then Pressed UPDATE on controller ....
It went through the android udate screen and rebooted controller on its own
Then it checked again and said i had update for the Bird, so did this
it again went through the upate proccess and restarted bird on its own..
HERE WE GO ..
rebooted everything to be safe it checked for updates but said all was ok
Connected to Bird (go FLY) and away i went
checked maps and all was there
HAVE NOT FLOWN IT YET , i hasten to add but so far so good me thinks.

quick update , forgot to do other bateries, so just plugged in it said INCONSISTANT firmware with accesies so slid to update it rebooted bird and all ok with batteries to.
BUT did have to agree to DJI terms about restrictions if not using app..but expected that TBH
