I'm really looking hard at the Chasing M2 Pro but the fact it has to be tethered is holding me back.  I'd love to see DJI come out with a non-tethered underwater drone.  I'm not in a hurry to buy so I'll keep doing my due diligence.

Ah, you noticed it too (and have not gotten an answer so far)

This sucks and pretty sure it would be easy to verify for account product registration and store purchase for forum users.  Poor show from DJI on this one Panda for those of us trying to support the community maybe you should take a demotion for filling my inbox on a frequent basis ;)

So this explains why I was demoted. I thought it was because I had a slight pause in my forum activity due to private life concerns. But I will gain my rank back after writing here for some time again?

Hi Panda.
This is @Montfrooij from an old test account I made long ago. I can't log in anymore on my regular (Montfrooij) account. Probably because of this change (that is my assumption).
This is the message I'm getting, but I do still see the notification dot, so at some point the forum software decides to serve me this message.

Entirely misguided and ham-handed move by whoever runs this forum. Won't have the desired effect and only serves to alienate long-time loyal forum members. And like others, not only was I demoted, but my registered products have never been accurate. I've registered around a dozen DJI drones using the same email address and I do for this forum and most have never shown up on my profile.

I'm glad DJI drones (mostly) work a lot better than this forum does.

And how many points do I need before I can ask a question? I can't find anything that let's me do any of those things mentioned except post a comment, and I am too new to.be much help.

Hi, you will need 40 points to upgrade your level to level 1, so you can post. You can verify your email address and set your avatar, and reply to some posts, plus 3 days login to obtain 40 points.

I have regained my captain's title. Thank you.

Hi Wanda. I used my DJI credentials to log in the forum. I didn’t know that I have I should receive a verification email. That’s why I can’t start a new thread anywhere and replying is also limited. I read somewhere that I should get 40 points to have full access; email verification will add points but I don’t seem to find how to do so. Thank you.

We checked that you have already verfied the email address.
When you enter the email address at the first time you registered the account, you have finished the verification.

One question regarding the Core User of DJI rank: in the requirements, you state that owning at least five DJI drones is required to be eligible for the rank. I would like you to be a bit more specific and to clarify if this exactly means five aerial drones, or if buying five cameras/gimbals/microphones/powerbanks etc. non-accessory products will make us equally eligible for that rank as well?

If buying five cameras/gimbals/microphones/powerbanks etc. non-accessory products will  not make equally eligible for that rank.
