It's a real shame that the CE rules reduce what is capable in the FCC rules.  I wonder since UK broke off into their own if they might eventually follow something similar to FCC signal strength rules.

I doubt we will change the CE rules,  they came about because of interference in dense areas,   and were pretty dense here.     If it wasnt regulated at all just think how much better it could be.  

I watched a range test of the Avata 2 CE vs FCC and they were the same distance as the battery was the limit,  but you could see the bars in CE drop much faster.

Seems there are many complaints on signal strength regardless of whether on CE or FCC.

I think that DJI will address the lack of signal strength and hopefully a couple of the issues already being reported.

Theres some new reporting last night that the ham file enables FCC after all but doesnt allow the channels to be manually selected,  if its true it means the CE drone will be better than the FCC drone as we have 3 radio frequencies here which will run at FCC power but in FCC regions it will only get 2 frequencies.

Well lets hope that DJI gets the low signal issue sorted out soon.

Still very busy at the job, but after 76h working last week, I hope this week will be better. So far it is.
Working from home today, so that is a big b onus.

It's a whole new plant, so that was to be expected.
Lots of mechanization going on that needs adjusting and adjusting to.
'my' job went perfect. No comments from the users and no unexpected behavior, so that's a big win in my books (normally changing systems will get at least some complaints).
I was doing 'regular' production tasks most of the time, jumping in to help where needed.
Which is nice (for some time) because you really get to know the processes, which helps me design better software.
Can't wait to get the data from all the sensors and make the next step.

Ah,  I misunderstood what was changing,   you had mentioned new scales recently as I assumed it was some hardware being upgraded.  New plant sounds like a lot of work.

We moved everything from the old plant to the new one and had a lot of new stuff on top of that.
Still installing pieces every day (as they are delivered).
But I think 75% is operational now.

2x no.
The old site will be sold.
But I will be at the new site a lot for the coming months.
Which is a bit of a pita as it's a 1h+ drive.
But 'my' location will remain at Twello, which is 15 minutes from home.

Thats always an issue in my experience and since C19 I can imagine that could be even harder these days.
