Most likely.  There might be some rocks/sand showing through, even just in the middle. As the ice gets started it will continue to build out. People get in trouble as they walk out from a sandbar thinking it's safe and then...plop!

Yes to the white water rafting. Meh to the fishing where the kayaking and rafting is fun . Downstream it does get reasonable.

Good to know.  I've got to make another visit to Alaska for sure.

Also the railroad.
I wonder why they made such a curve after the railroad bridge, but my guess is that it has to do with height difference.
A small suggestion would be to have the music play along during the entire video. Now there are very silent parts and if you lower the volume a bit while you are speaking (which is a great addition btw), it's not distracting too much.
