The sun gave it a good go with some impressive colors but those ominous clouds did their best to block out the sun's attempts.  Hope you didn't get caught out again in the rain.

I was lucky and missed the rain,  but weve had some torrential hail though so Ive been tinkering with the fpv controller 3 instead.

Ive already put the box away but the Avata 2 is safely back in the bag it came with.  And in the mean time Im 3d printing a stick protector for the new remote.

Good to know you dodged the rain.  I had a bad experience with a hail storm when stationed in Chicago.  It left pitted marks all over my hood and top of the car.  Normally, I kept it in the garage but I was at work that day and it was sitting in the employee parking lot and got pounded along with numerous other cars.  The auto body shop was having a field day following that hail storm.  If I remember correctly mine was at the shop for over 2 weeks.  I had to get a rental car as the only other vehicle I had at the time was my Harley Davidson motorcycle and it wasn't fun to ride in the middle of the winter.
