Funnily enough quite the opposite,  it was like camera club at the castle this morning,   after two really good sunrises it inspired a few extra people to visit.

Cheers Depp,  it was ice cold this morning, now it's warmed up with wind but I still managed to get the Avata out for some ripping.

It was absolutly freezing this morning,   no frost but Mr B had one.    It's now warmed up but the wind came with it.  Just been ripping the Avata.  I may post a ripping video shortly.

Looks like the start of a beautiful day.

It finally warmed up and got sunny but with that came the wind,   fortunately I risked it and took the Avata 2 out for its maiden flight and had a good rip around.

I haven't tried the motion controller yet,   Im not feeling too comfortable with that so I also got the Remote Controller which is what I was using.

Nice.  Glad you got it outdoors and starting to get familiar with the controls.  Looking forward to seeing some ripping footage.  Then you'll need to up your game and do some dives to get the adrenaline really flowing.

I posted a little rip on the works section,     I had to convert the footage down to 30fps from 60fps which makes it less smooth looking.

I've not spent enough time with it to make any recommendations.   But check out some of Orginal Dobos videos he's used the Avata for real estate,  he also has some goods tips for real estate like running the taps and showers when taking the photos.    His most recent real taste video was amazing.

I've just been down to the Torrs to try for a pano in RAW. I'll see what the results are shortly.
The drone behaved wierdly afterwards.  Moving round in small circles and floating up and down.
There must be some interference down there. I was able to control it with the sticks and land safely.
But it's a bit worrying.

Could there be some strange eddies in the wind causing that.

It's entirely possible - I was directly over the weir near Torr Mill.
But the drone was only about 15m up and 20m from me. And I could feel no wind where I was sat.

He's good. I am a subscriber of his. I took his photography course on Pilot institute. It was very helpful. That's what made me look at the avata for fly throughs.

I love DJI added that feature.  I've not had to use it yet but glad it's there in case I ever need it.

As I normally land with 25% battery free its gong to be great for me,    I got 3 flights out 3 batteries which I wouldn't normally be able to do.

Good that you've already taken advantage of that function.  Saves toting around an external power bank as you basically have one built in so to speak.

I wouldn't normally carry the charger though so that makes a difference.
