This will be my last week of sunrise shots I think.  it's getting just that little bit too early for me.

Yes,  this will probably be my last week for sunrise shots until Autumn,  it's getting silly especially as I have quite a walk before I get to my fly spots.

Another 6 hours wait for the tide that day,   I may take the avata 2 down for its first high tide today.   Once I have a mountain of chores done first.

We had an experience like that,  we were looking for the WW1 trenches but they've been left to over grow and you can barely get near them.

All I found were a few modern-day representations, and information panels with pictures from yester-year. This might give you a clue...

Somewere near Howden Dam I would say,  I like that dam with the wall of water and the little trees in the water on Derwent could be excellent photos.

High tide is every 12 hours so it could have been worse.

Well the viewpoint for my pic was from here:

Sat on a bench and looking north. That's towards howden dam.
Last week's pic was from here

Again, sat on a bench but looking east, over Derwent dam.
Both dams have watch towers.
