It rained all night last night but looks like most of the day will be clear again.   But cold.  <10c.

It's actually got a little warmer than expected,  as is typical when you wrap up to go out flying and then cook.

Better to be overdressed as you can always peel off a layer or two.

Well the editing nearly got the laptop thrown out the window,  for some reason it would not export it in 4k without freezing the entire machine at some portion of the way though.

Oh. Maybe it's getting a little tired? Mine is about 4 years old, and when it's processing UHD video the fans go into overdrive. It can be quite alarming.

It is,  but it's been coping well with everything I throw at it so up and until now it's not been worth the upgrade.

I made another video and had the same issues last night,   it seems when I do a remove effects from the video it then worked so something Im adding is the issue,  but I suspect it relates to the 60fps Im using as I dont normally film in that speed.

By the way did you see the post by DJI Panda detailing the criteria for becoming a "Core User" ?
Five drones purchased from DJI.  I've had five, but one was bought second-hand, so maybe it does't count.
I would have thought that hand-held devices would have been taken into account as well, but apparently not.

I'm indifferent to it as well, really. But there are people like Charles in NY who must have far more than five drones, and yet he's only got First Officer status yet. So number of posts must be a factor as well.

Probably. I wonder if it only applies to drones bought directly from them, or would agents and retailers count as well.
