You're very welcome DA.  Speaking of cormorants, they are plentiful here and most places up and down the Atlantic Ocean coast of Georgia and Florida.  They can grown quite large.

Thats lovely to watch,  theres an old pier thats just left with the supports sticking out where sometimes a dozen or more will sit on each post and do that.

I didn't ask, or check. But where we are doesn't immediately make you think of cider, if you're angling for clues - but nothing should be ruled out.
