Shame,    do you go to the places where there are lots of water sports where people might drop stuff,  Ive seen a few video on YT were people find sunglasses and iPhones on a fairly regular basis.

Before Covid I used to take my metal detector to the beaches and you wouldn't believe how many items you'd find.  Watches, rings, wallets, necklaces, credit cards were plentiful.  Unfortunately, so were all the bottle tops and foil wrappers.  Anyway, since Covid the beaches are loaded with early morning metal detectorists.  I sold my metal detector and bought one that works underwater for up to 50 meters in depth.  So far I've only found a small cannonball with it.  Still looking for gold coins.

There was a TV Comedy here about metal dectorists,  and there was great scene where the field they would regularly go to had a big tree in where they ate lunch,  and the magpies were finding gold coins and putting them in a nest in the tree,  at the end of the series the gold was falling out but they were unable to claim it.     Sadly I cant find the clip for you.

I think once we get home I'll stop chasing the pre sunrise shots,   as thats going to be stupid o'clock for a couple of months.

What's your weather like today?  Light cloud coverage here at the moment but it's set to be a warm day I think.

Bright with some cloud - and pretty breezy. Not sure how well the panos will come out - the drone was wavering around all over the place.

I flew a couple of flights around the island,   had lots of interest from the oyster catchers here too.   But my second planned location was far too windy when I got up there.
