thanks DT.     I think this is the last of the sunrise shots for a while unless something appears from the archive,  next week Im away and then it's going to be silly early on my return.

My pleasure DA.  No problem with closing out the sunrise shots as you have better things to do with your time that getting up so early.

I have been for years,   my last few jobs were a bit flexible so I could start at 6am and be done by 2pm which gave me more time in the morning as I would miss rush over,    some opportunity's to stop in the morning for shots,  and then after 2 lot of time do me things.   The best bit was in those first 2ish hours before anyone else showed up I would get 70% of the days work completed.

I wish my day would have been that flexible.  However, everything we did was tied to normal working hours and at the whim of military judges.  I did enjoy my independent duty tours the most.  Of course when you are the lone JAG officer at a location then you better know your stuff.

I had other downsides to that job,   for the most I could work like that, but when we had conference calls with people in other countries it was always us that had to adjust our timings,  I once had to give a presentation to some people in China,  which meant logging on at 2am,   and the worse thing is they never turned up the first time,    but that was their culture.

I have a tendency to neglect chores these days. Then have to do a sudden burst to catch up

I have a few that Im putting off,    one odd one,  I have what looks like a nail in the skirting thats gone rusty and is bleeding through the gloss,    I really need to get it out,   dig out the nasty wood and full it and then re gloss is all but its in the hall way and thats never easy to keep bits out of.

It does that for sure,    Its on a 3m+ length which makes it even more miserable.  If it had been a short section it would be done by now, same with the conservatory,  I want to touch up the paint in a couple of places but I suspect it will show too much and need a complete repaint.

No doubt dealing with international countries on the other side of the globe can really alter your normal "working" hours.

Only spitting here at the moment.    Will need to pursue SWMBOd to venture out if she ever gets up. ( I should have brought my special alarm).

Can you lie to the walking group and tell them it will  clear by 10am.

Of the twelve declared ( from a membership of 28) I've had 5 cry off already.
The really annoying thing is, I've made a lunch reservation for us all, as usual, and will now have to ring and cancel half of them at this last minute. That won't be popular with the venue.

oh yes that is a pain.   maybe that needs rethinking for future walks.

They do have a totally different culture for sure.  It seems information or ideas must flow downward and never upward as that makes superiors look bad that they didn't come up with it.

Only two others besides myself turned up. It drizzled during the first half of the walk, then was dry for the return along the canal. Two others turned up for lunch, making five of the 11 I had reserved for.
