DJI RC Plus Controller Remote w/Mavic 3

Greetings. Is the DJI RC PLUS controller compatible with the Mavic 3? Sellers on eBay are selling them as compatible but DJI website states only Matrice series. Did sellers of these controllers do some type of firmware hack to get them to work? They are also stating the firmware cannot be updated? Thanks in advance.

I went back and forth with them asking a series of questions. It seems they have force loaded Pilot 2 and Fly into it. Their mod supports the 3T and the 3E, cool I have both and the bigger screen would be very nice indeed. It works with the Mini 3 pro and the Mavic 3 and 3 Pro and Classic, but strangely not the Mavic 3 Cine.
"Mavic 3E and 3T work with DJI PFV App. Only choose install a App(DJI PFV App or Pilot 2 App). And this controller is not compatible with Mavic 3 Cine. Please note. Thank you‌‍‍‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌"

I really wanted to use it with the Cine for the larger screen. I tried Goggles, but the range is somewhat pathetic when you use the goggles.

Thanks to both of you. I'm going to stick with getting the RC Pro. The RC Plus seems to be some type of "hack" to get it to work and the seller stating that the firmware can not be upgraded scares me.
