Cow House Creek Flood-Rough Edit

I spent the day going through all of my shots of the flood and put together this rough edit in Davinci Resolve Studio. 4K30, no color correction or adjustments.

What an amazing difference that storm made to the landscape. Crest of 45 feet is extraordinary. Impressive job of compiling this footage Scott.

Amazingly extensive flooding there. And surprising to see how quickly it receded again.

Thank you! Lost a bunch of fence, several trees were down, but our structures are up above the flood plain.

Thank you! We have continued to have severe storms and flooding since this was posted. The creek rose 35 feet just over a week ago. The we had severe winds that took down several large trees from the roots...

Luckily our buildings were safe and we do not rely on the land or have cattle, however our neighbors were severely impacted.

Yeah, which is (most of the time) a shame considering the droughts many places are experiencing.

Yikes, that's is really severe weather. Seems we are seeing more and more of these bad weather patterns develop.
